bright and innovative with a local flair.
British Telecom’s new Colorado location needed to achieve a myriad of goals: a functional and updated home for their employees, a step forward for their new branding initiative based on being an innovative technology company, and a piece of art that showcased the personality of both Denver and Boulder. Through the process of design, BT’s standards continued to evolve as Kestrel helped to identify materials and installation that could help to portray the new brand. The design has an array of influences, managing to be both clean and bright with distinctive Colorado flair and materials to make it warm and comfortable. The furniture design creates both collaborative and private working areas separate from workstations, while the environmental graphics package throughout the office provides unique messaging for each employee. In addition to the messages, signs found throughout the office feature local Denver and Boulder music venues as room signage. The small details found throughout this space make it fun and interesting, while still remaining true to BT’s international brand.
