Did you know that socks are one of the most needed items for unhoused and vulnerable communities?

As one of the least donated items to shelters each year, they are often the most needed item. That’s why we are asking you to help us warm some soles as we move into cooler weather.

We’re collecting sock donations all throughout Socktober. At the end of Socktober, we’ll be delivering sock donations to The Samaritan House, Urban Peak and The Family Tree right here in our own community.

The Samaritan House serves women, men, families, and veterans experiencing homelessness in Denver – providing a warm bed, clean linens, toiletries, a hot meal, and community. They also provide case management, life skills classes, and community resources and referrals to help our neighbors when they are the most vulnerable.

Urban Peak ignites the potential in youth to exit homelessness and create self-determined, fulfilled lives. By providing resources for safe housing, supportive relationships, and opportunities for self-sufficiency and success, Urban Peak aims to change the lives of teens facing homelessness.

The Family Tree provides innovative, life-changing services designed to end child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness. The Family Tree has been around for over 46 years and recognizes the intersection of these trials within the human experience. Based on their expertise, they change how individuals, families, and communities see, respond to, and overcome these challenges.

Because every sole deserves a sock.

We’d love to have your help!

Follow the link to our Amazon Wishlist, and your sock donation will be delivered directly to our office. We are looking for socks for all – so you’ll find socks sized for infants through adults on our wish list.

Keep an eye out, we can’t wait to share with how many socks we are able to donate to our community.
We are so excited to have you all join us on the venture to warm some soles.

Want to shop local or support other businesses?

Bring your (new, unworn) socks by our office on
Thursday, November 7th between 4-6pm for a Socktoberfest celebration.

We’d love to see you and your socks!
