a hub for collaboration and relaxation.
Born out of the need for a plug and play, coworking tenant suite concept not yet available in Denver, Kestrel Design Group was tasked to bring the new concept to life in 1700 Broadway, an iconic Denver building. Otherwise known as the Atrium, it was originally designed by I. M. Pei. The 8th and 9th floor were divided into 11 ‘ready-to-go’ spec suites for short term tenant leases, complete with acoustic design, furniture, AV, data cabling and environmental graphics. With the history of the building being so vibrant and resonating so beautifully with mid-century modern style and full 360 glass views, the interior design of the floor had to not only attract potential tenants but be a hub for people to collaborate and relax. The space features tenant specific private suites as well as common meeting areas, phone rooms, wellness rooms, a large working lounge and large shared breakroom on the exterior glass for community events or day-to-day needs. Plant-life was considered from the beginning as an integral piece of the design to help people relax in a post-Covid working world.
